As the Activities Director at bridgeway of Bensenville, I am thrilled to share what a fantastic Father’s Day we had this year. We hosted an indoor barbecue celebration that was enjoyed by all, complete with a wonderful antique car show featuring hot rods and a 1952 Buick Special Corvette from Shriners. The Father’s Day menu featured delicious Dr. Pepper-barbecued ribs, potato salad, pasta salad, juicy watermelon, and a selection of refreshing alcoholic beverages and beer. Our residents were entertained with lively performances of classic songs by the talented Rick Pickren, a background singer for Dolly Parton. It was a joyous and memorable day filled with good food, great company, and fun entertainment, making Father’s Day 2024 a truly special occasion for everyone involved.
