Father’s Day Celebration – Honoring Our Dads
We had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day with delicious food, lively entertainment, and lots of smiles! Our special guest, George Nichols the Cowboy, serenaded us with a great mix of contemporary Christian songs, old country favorites, and classic hits from legends like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson—a real treat for music lovers! The festivities included fun games like “Pin the Tie on the Dad,” a raffle where five lucky fathers took home prizes, and a feast featuring steak, burgers, hot dogs, brats, pork and beans, pasta salad, shrimp salad, fresh salads, watermelon, and of course, some cold beer and wine coolers for those who wished to toast. It was a joyful afternoon full of laughter, music, and appreciation for the wonderful men in our community.
