Lunch Bunch at Amigas Mexican Cuisine

Lunch Bunch Outing –  Amigas

This month, our Lunch Bunch had a fantastic time dining at  Amigas, a charming Mexican restaurant whose name means “female friends” in Spanish. We went on a Thursday to take full advantage of their $1 taco special, and the food did not disappoint! Many of us ordered delicious skirt steak and ground beef tacos, while others enjoyed chicken tacos and the flavorful chile relleno dinner. Of course, no Mexican lunch would be complete without a few margaritas, and some adventurous residents tried the traditional sweet rice drink called horchata for the first time. Though it was a hot summer day and a bit warm inside, the horchata and margaritas kept us cool and refreshed. Everyone left with full bellies and big smiles, already talking about making a return visit. It was a joyful afternoon of good food, great company, and the simple pleasure of getting out for some fresh air and fun together!
